The Atlantic Wood Design Awards was held virtually in February 2022. The event recognizes excellence in Wood Design and Construction across the Atlantic Provinces and honours the people the organizations that are helping to create a wood culture in Atlantic Canada. A Jury of experts reviewed the nominations and chose the winning projects based on several factors including: creativity; distinctive use of wood materials (with emphasis on regionally produced materials); ability to satisfy client and site requirements; innovation and overall aesthetics. The Architect of the Year, Engineer of the Year, and Wood Champion awards were chosen by the Atlantic Wood WORKS! Team.
